Abbey Mortgage Bank Appoints Adenike Kuti as Independent Director
Abbey Mortgage Bank, a prominent mortgage lender in Nigeria, has recently welcomed Adenike Kuti to its board as an independent non-executive director. This strategic appointment is effective immediately and is poised to enhance the bank’s leadership with Kuti’s extensive expertise in chartered accountancy and corporate finance.
Adenike Kuti brings a wealth of experience, having worked in various capacities, including business development, mergers & acquisitions, and investment banking. Her academic background includes a first degree in accounting from the University of Lagos, a master’s degree in Finance and Investment with First Class Honors from Nottingham University Business School, and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
Having served at notable institutions such as Leapfrog Investments Limited, Africa Finance Corporation, KPMG, and Vetiva Capital Limited, Kuti has demonstrated her prowess in structuring, executing, and managing substantial investment portfolios, totaling 350 million USD across Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria during her tenure as an Associate Director at Leapfrog Investments.
Beyond her corporate accomplishments, Kuti founded Oakheirs Limited, a company instrumental in the merger of CAP Plc and Portland Paints Plc. Additionally, she holds a position on the Board of E-finance Limited as a Non-Executive Director, showcasing her commitment to contributing to various sectors.
