Ekiti Govt seeks developer for Abuja building concession
The Government of Ekiti State has invited registered and reputable companies to participate in the bidding process for the Ekiti House Concession Project in the Federal Capital Territory.
This was contained in a joint advertorial by the Ekiti government and Fountain Holdings Limited titled ‘Concession of Ekiti House, Wuse, Abuja: Invitation to Bid,’ signed by the company’s Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mr. OSKA Seyi Aiyeleso.
It reads, “The Ekiti government, through Fountain Holdings Limited, has taken the decision to commercialise select state-owned enterprises as part of ongoing efforts to attract new investments, create jobs, and increase internally-generated revenue in the state.
“The state government has engaged a Transaction Advisor to manage the privatisation process in line with extant Public Private Partnership Laws. We now invite registered and reputable firms and companies to participate in the bidding process for the Ekiti House Concession Project.”
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Ekiti House is situated in Wuse district, the north-western part of Abuja. It is rectangular in shape and has an area length of 13.364 square meters. The building has three structures. The first structure has seven floors which is used for office purposes, while the second structure has seven floors which serve residential purposes. The third structure has been converted to a hotel facility with 46 suites and 12 single rooms, halls, meeting rooms, restaurant, laundry, and ample parking space.
The bidding process includes the submission of proposals by competent companies for consideration to be selected as the Concessionaire that would enter into a Concession Agreement with the Government of Ekiti State (through Fountain Holdings Limited) for a period of 15 years, to renovate, repair, reconstruct, operate, and manage the property under agreed conditions.
