The ban on Community Development Association in Edo by the State government has been attributed to as the major reason why real estate investment has received a boost in the State.

Managing Director, DPrince Builders, Mr. Cyril Omoregie gave this assertion in Edo State on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the company in Benin city, the Edo State capital.

The Benin Monarch on ascension to the throne in 2016 banned the activities of Community Development Associations, with the Edo state government sponsoring a bill, which the House of Assembly wasted no time in passing into law.

According to Omoregie, one good thing about Prince Builder’s estates is that no more Community Development levies, no agent fees and no encroachment on anyone’s land anymore in the state.

“It has been 14 years of hard work, 14 years of finding solutions for real estate investors in Edo State, we are going to be in your local government soon, as we intend to cover the whole states in Nigeria and the challenge has been capital for investment. The goal of the company is to cover all the states in Nigeria, the USA, Uk, and Canada and we are currently working on that by the grace of God.”

He, however, called on those who bought lands to come and begin to develop their land once they have free money.

“In as much as we give you confidence that when you buy from us, no community development levy, no agent fees, no encroachment whatever, but we are pleading that you go and begin to develop your land because we want the estates to develop.

“One good thing about our relationship with our clients is that you can pay instalmentally, and when you pay the first instalment, you can start developing your land.

“From January 2022, we are going to commence real estate classes in Benin, to mentor those who intend to go into the real estate business. The class for the first set of students will be three months and cost only N100,000

“We want you to understand the real estate business before you invest, we will be able to teach you when to invest, where to invest and how to invest and also when to sell, just as we are rolling out investment plans for the public” he further declared.

Hon Marcus Onobun, the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, in his remark, congratulated the Prince Builders for putting in 14years of service to man and the state.

He encouraged him never to be deterred by whatsoever challenges, pledging the support of the state House of Assembly.
