LASBCA Boss Tasks Staff on Improved Service Delivery
Staff of the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) have been charged to improve their service delivery towards the seamless achievement of set goals and objectives.
The charge was given by the General Manager, LASBCA, Arc. Gbolahan Owodunni Oki (FNIA) during the Agency’s first workday celebration/prayer session of the new year at LASBCA’s Headquarters in Ikeja, GRA.
According to a statement issued by the state government, Owodunni also used the occasion to thank the staff for a job well done in 2023, urging them to up their game for greater achievements in the new year as the reward for good work is more work.
“LASBCA as an Agency is a service provider and a supervisory Agency. As such officials in the Agency must up their game in the discharge of their statutory duties for seamless actualisation of set goals and objectives”, he stated.
He also reiterated the importance of building true love amongst the officials for a better working environment and seamless job performance for all as no meaningful thing can be achieved without the love and cooperation of everyone in the workplace.
The General Manager also urged the staff to give more attention to their health and well-being through periodic medical check-ups to be organised by the Agency for workers to ascertain their health status, while proper medical attention will be given to those that need it.
“During the year, there will be medical check-ups for all staff of the Agency to ascertain their medical conditions as the health of every worker is paramount. This is also to checkmate any unforeseen contingencies in the future”, he added.
The Secretary of LASBCA, Mrs. Omolara Daba thanked the officials for a job well done and also urged them to be more dedicated and committed in the discharge of their statutory duties.
