A new real estate project described as Africa’s first green and smart city was launched on Friday in Lagos.
Present at the programme were eminent personalities such as former Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Bode Rhodes-Vivour; Managing Director, Ocean City Lagos, Adewunmi Osagie; President, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Michael Olawale-Cole.
Others are Mr Seun Obasanjo, a son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo; and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mike Ozhekhome.
The project which is being promoted by Ocean City Lagos Limited, an affiliate of Sea Global Energy according to the promoters will revolutionise the geographic, economic and social landscape of Lagos, Nigeria and arguably Africa’s centre of commerce.
Speaking on the initiative, the Managing Director, Ocean City Lagos, Adewunmi Osagie noted that the project would have some of the best development hands working on it in a bid to ensure its safety for Lagosians and Nigerians by extension.
She said, “We live in an ever-changing world with increasing demands for futuristic solutions. The definition of luxury has now shifted, with rising expectations of quality standards in premium and innovative living.”
