The latest unveiling of a kitchen and walk-in closet by TRT Woodwork Co confirms the ability of the company to hit sophisticated high notes in their installations…

There is nowhere to hide poor design or shoddy workmanship in a white kitchen. Every error, no matter how minute is shown up because of the palette of the work. On the other hand, because the design is so simple and clean, there is a temptation to think that the concept is simplistic. It is not.

The white kitchen presented by the design company shows that a lot of thought went into how the cabinets, countertop, island and appliances all work together. There are no handles or knobs on the cabinets, so the grooves of the woodwork pretty much make up the design. And any sign of imperfection is laid bare to the open eye to see. We cast a critical eye over the scheme and were left wowed by the perfection even in this environment with a serious skillset shortage.

To bring some relief to the design, the company has gone for the inspiring touches of a black marble backsplash as well as wooden slats for the island. The sliver appliances are unobtrusive and blend into the scheme. So we have a mix of warm and stark elements that give a sense of balance.
