Breaking: President Buhari Swears in Sambo as New Minister of State for Works and Housing

President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn in Mu’Azu Jaji Sambo as the new minister of state for Works and Housing.
The ceremony took place at the Statehouse Council Chamber in Abuja on Friday.

Muazu Jaji Sambo is a Nigerian engineer and politician. He was born in Taraba State, Nigeria.

He was the Area Manager, Lagos Zone of the Nigeria Inland Waterways Authority. He also worked in various capacities as an engineer prior to becoming the minister of Power.

In December 2021, President Buhari appointed Muazu Sambo as the Minister for Power to replace Engineer Sale Mamman.

He is a member of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Muazu Sambo is married with children. He is a Muslim from Taraba state.
