AMCON Seeks Estate Surveyors for 2022

Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) has issued an invitation to Estate Surveyor and Valuers to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Valuation of Assets.

Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), a government agency established by the AMCON Act, 2010 in order to insure and evaluate pledged collaterals of acquired Eligible Bank Assets (EBAS) and proprietary assets for the purpose of establishing proper records.

According to ad placement on Thisday newspaper dated 27th December 2021, and obtained by Castles Lifestyle, the agency requires interested and competent Valuation firms to submit necessary documents, which include;

a.  Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission

b. Current evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on the first day of the following year or a valid Certificate issued by BPP

c. Current Tax Clearance Certificates (including the years preceding the date of publication)

d. Current Evidence of Pension Compliance Certificate (PENCOM) valid till end of year

e. Current Evidence of Industrial Training Fund(ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till end of year.

Others are;

f. Current Evidence of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate valid till end of year

g. Current Professional Indemnity

h. Current NIESV Certificate

i. Current ESVARBON certificate

j. Bank reference Letter

k. Bankruptcy Status

l. Evidence of three (3) years Audited Accounts duly stamped and signed by an auditor

m. Submission of a Sworn Affidavit that will state/reconfirm/disclose as follows:

a. whether or not any officer of Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the firm and to confirm that all information presented is true and correct in all particulars.

b. that the firm/company is not being in receivership, the subject of any form of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings or the subject of any form of winding up petition or proceedings

c. that the firm/company is not a replacement for a hitherto tax defaulting company.

d.  that the firm/company does not have any Director who has been convicted in any country for a criminal offence relating to fraud or any financial impropriety or criminal misrepresentation or falsification of facts, relating to any matter.

Note: All official letterhead and other documents of the company must be in compliance with Section 278 of the Companies and Allied Matters Act, 1990.

The completed pre-qualification documents are to be sealed with wax in an envelope indicating Expression of Interest for Valuation of assets and addressed to:

Cost Control and Tenders Committee

AMCON Head Office,

417, Tigris Crescent, Maitama, Abuja FCT.

The completed Expression of Interest should be submitted to the office of the Secretary, Cost Control and Tenders Committee, Abuja on or before 12 noon of Monday, January 10, 2022.
